| In the
very nature of things had we known when the job was to be done we would have arranged to have an observer present in order to satisfy ourselves that the work was being done to the required specifications. This is no reflection on Mr. Holtby's work, but in a business operation such procedure is normal. |

| In the
circumstances, I suggest Mr. Holtby may be able to arrange for you to visit the site at low water to put the OK to pay" so to speak on his bill, and any such additional cost for running you out will, of course, be for our account. |

is satisfactory, then you may pass him the enclosed cheque. |
